Step 1 - Apply for U.S./Mexico FAST
You must first apply for the FAST program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $50 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: FAST (Free and Secure Trade) is designed for commercial truck drivers who frequently cross the U.S.-Mexico border. It provides expedited customs and immigration clearance for commercial carriers.
Start Your FAST ApplicationStep 2 - Wait for conditional approval
After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the FAST program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your FAST interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for U.S./Mexico FAST. The next step is to schedule your interview at Douglas Enrollment Center (DGL).

- Click on the "Chose This Location" button to see the available timeslots at Douglas Enrollment Center (DGL)
Step 4 - Skip the FAST Interview wait time
You might notice that Douglas Enrollment Center (DGL) is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.
So what can you do?
FAST interview appointments are constantly cancelled, rescheduled, and added. This means that if you can monitor the interview slots, you can find an appointment that fits your schedule.

Directions: Starting on November 06, 2023, The Douglas Global Enrollment Center new hours of operation will be Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm (ARIZONA/MST). Closed on Federal Holidays. WALKINS AVAILABLE during business hours. Enter the CBP Commercial Facility located on 1st and Pan American Avenue. Approach the Security Guard at the entry gate. DO NOT USE GPS. GPS may direct you into Mexico. Please view the attached map with correct route to the Douglas Enrollment Center. From Pan American Avenue turn left on 3rd Street. Turn right on H Avenue. Turn right on 1st Street. The gated Commercial Facility will be on the left immediately following the intersection of 1st Street and Customs Avenue.
